If you’re thinking about booking your first aesthetic consultation, you might be feeling a mix of excitement and nerves — and that’s completely normal. Many patients tell us they’re excited to learn more… but also a little unsure about what to expect or what they’re even supposed to ask.
Let’s start here: aesthetic consultations should never make you feel bad about yourself.
At Revee, we believe aesthetics is about confidence, education, and choice — not pressure or perfection. A consultation is simply a conversation, centered around you.
Here’s what a first aesthetic consultation with Revee typically looks like, what questions are helpful to ask, and why we intentionally offer these visits complimentary.

Our Approach: Education First, Always
Our approach to aesthetics is very simple: we’re here to help people feel more confident — not to point out flaws they never noticed before.
Instead of telling you what you “need,” we start by asking questions like:
What brought you in today?
What are you curious about?
Is there anything you’ve been wanting to learn more about?
Some patients come in with a very specific concern. Others just know they want to look a little more refreshed, or they’re hearing about treatments from friends and social media and want reliable information. Both are great reasons to book a consultation.
This is a patient‑centric conversation. You set the pace.
What to Expect During Your First Aesthetic Consultation
Every consultation is different, but here’s a general idea of how things usually flow:
1. A Real Conversation (Not a Sales Pitch)
Your consultation starts with talking — not examining or recommending treatments right away. We want to understand you first.
There’s no pressure to have treatment names memorized or to know exactly what you want. You’re welcome to say things like:
“I just want to learn.”
“I’m not sure if I’m ready for anything yet.”
“I want subtle, natural results.”
“Is it possible to address this concern” (sun damage, aging, rosacea, llaxity….whatever is on your radar!)
All of that helps guide the conversation.
2. Education You Can Actually Understand
A big part of the consultation is education. We’ll talk through:
How skin changes over time
Why certain concerns happen
What different treatments can realistically do (and what they can’t)
You should leave your consultation understanding why something is recommended — not just what is recommended.
There’s no rushing, and no such thing as a silly question.
3. A Thoughtful, Respectful Assessment
If and when you’re comfortable, we’ll look at the areas you want to discuss. This isn’t about magnifying imperfections — it’s about understanding balance, skin health, and your individual facial structure so any recommendations feel natural and appropriate.
If something isn’t necessary, we’ll tell you that too.
4. Options, Not Ultimatums
You’ll always be given options. Those might include:
Preventative treatments
Skin health and maintenance recommendations
Non‑invasive or injectable options
Or simply guidance on what not to do right now
Sometimes the best plan is waiting — and that’s absolutely okay.

Why Our Consultations Are Complimentary
We intentionally offer aesthetic consultations at no charge.
Why? Because there is so much information — and misinformation — online right now. Social media, influencers, trends, and before‑and‑after photos can make aesthetics feel confusing, overwhelming, or even intimidating.
We believe patients deserve:
A safe space to ask questions
Honest, expert guidance
Clear education without financial pressure
Offering complimentary consultations allows you to learn, explore options, and make decisions from a place of confidence — not obligation.
Education should never come with strings attached.
Helpful Questions to Ask During Your Consultation
If you’re not sure where to start, these questions often lead to great conversations:
What are my options if I want very natural results?
What’s preventative versus corrective?
What kind of downtime should I realistically expect?
How long do results last, and what does maintenance look like?
What would you recommend if this were your own face?
What do I need to know before deciding?
A good provider welcomes these questions — and takes the time to answer them.
What You Don’t Need to Worry About
You don’t need to:
Know treatment names
Commit to anything same‑day
Fix everything at once
Feel pressured to move forward
Your consultation is about information, not decisions. No need to memorize anything we talk about…you will leave with a written guide of what we discussed. And we will have a copy in your medical record so you may reach out at any time to book and we will know how to help you!
Final Thoughts
A great aesthetic consultation should leave you feeling more confident than when you arrived — not overwhelmed or self‑critical.
We’re here to help you learn, ask questions, and decide what feels right for you — now or in the future.
